About Us

About Our Center

Middle Earth provides high-quality non-profit child development services that incorporate developmentally appropriate activities through play. We are dedicated to maintaining standards of affordability, accessibility and accountability to ensure that parents, children and the community at large, regardless of financial situation, are best served.

Our History

Middle Earth was founded and established as a non-profit agency in 1971 by dedicated volunteers who sought to create a high quality, affordable and accessible educational program for young children.  Many of these individuals were affiliated with the University of Oklahoma as faculty, staff, and students.

Family Leadership Committee

The Middle Earth Family Leadership Committee was created to facilitate communication and engagement between staff, board members, and families of Middle Earth. It is a great way to get involved with activities that involve your child and meet other Middle Earth families. We help with fundraising, teacher appreciation, staff meals, holiday parties, and more. We do everything we can to support our wonderful center! Please join us at a monthly meeting, or email us for more information!
